A banner displays and visitors can click Accept or Reject. That alone doesn't prove tracking responds correctly.

WHY CONTINUOUS MONITORING?
New plugins, theme releases, apps and marketing tags can change what a website does after the original consent setup was tested.
A banner displays and visitors can click Accept or Reject. That alone doesn't prove tracking responds correctly.
A developer updates a theme. A marketing team adds a pixel. A plugin loads a new resource.
Recurring technical checks and previous-scan comparisons help reveal behavior that deserves review.
WHAT THE MONITOR DOES
Independent browser-based testing that complements your client's existing consent management platform.
Separate initial, Accept and Reject captures to observe how the site's behavior changes with visitor choices.
Identify recognized cookies, tracking collection and third-party activity within the scanner's observation windows.
Review observable Google consent defaults, updates and related request signals, with uncertainty clearly labeled.
Run recurring scans so your team does not have to repeat every verification manually.
Compare check results and selected evidence with a previous scan to investigate meaningful changes.
Review detected concerns and changes in your workspace, with notifications for scheduled monitoring.

GOOD TO KNOW
PlainPrivacy Monitor focuses on technical verification, not legal certification.
Monitor scans publicly accessible websites through a browser and can evaluate supported consent and tracking behaviors regardless of the site's platform. Individual technologies and pages may require manual verification.
No code installation is required for basic scans of public pages, and Monitor is designed to work alongside your existing consent management platform.
Monitor reports the limitation or inconclusive result rather than treating missing evidence as proof of a privacy problem or a successful test.
There is no automatic paid subscription or payment requirement. We may invite testers to discuss continued access after reviewing feedback.
No. Monitor provides automated technical observations for a defined page, region and observation window. It cannot determine legal applicability or certify GDPR compliance.
